This must-have fellow is required for the live streaming and recording functions, and is as simple as downloading and installing on your desktop (and desktop only).
First of all, you need to know that in order to have access to the session recording feature, you need to join the "Pro" plan. You can get a free 30-day trial to see if it suits you.
Since Crewdle is a peer-to-peer video conferencing platform and we do not use a server or intermediary, you will need to install a local resource manager on your workstation.
Simply download Companion according to your operating system, Mac or Windows. When you open the Companion app after installing, you will be prompted to sign in and… that’s pretty much all there is to it!
Make sure you are connected to the Companion app before each recording session. If you’re not, no worries! You will get a notification prompting you to open the app and retry the connection. When the recording is completed, a pop-up window will open and allow you to choose where to save your session. You will be able to save it to your workstation or to the Crewdle cloud.
