Every year, on June 5, the UN reminds us how important our environment is. According to the UN, our planet faces three major challenges:
To make sure we sift the tide and reduce the negative impacts we have on our planet, we need to continue our investments in green technology and shift our habits towards more sustainable activities.
On June 5, 1973, the UN launched World Environment Day – “the largest global platform for environmental public outreach.” 50 years later, with the slogan “Only One Earth”, we continue to celebrate this day as we need to take more action to save our planet.
Unfortunately, time is running out. As the planet gets warmer, there is increasingly more pressure for us to do something.
Studies suggest that by 2025, 20% of the world’s CO2 emissions will come from the IT industry, with 5.5% coming from data centers alone.

That’s why we invented Crewdle. Thanks to our videoconferencing solution, we’re able to eliminate the need for servers from our calls, through peer-to-peer technology, this reducing the environmental impact of you virtual meetings.
To mark this important day, Crewdle is excited to announce your “Impact Scorecard”. Now, after each meeting, you can see exactly how much you’ve saved by using Crewdle.
There’s nothing to install. Once you click to leave the meeting, you’ll have a pop-up with all your savings.
Have a good World Environment Day 🌎
