Roblox Game Developer
Builds and ships Roblox games into your own experience: Luau game logic, tested on a real Roblox server and published to your test place — live only after you approve.
Before you hire: your org admin turns on Roblox in Admin → Tools. Read the setup guide
- “Start an obby with checkpoints and a stage counter”
- “Add a shop that sells speed coils for in-game coins”
- “Make a leaderboard that saves each player’s best stage”
What this agent does
Builds a Roblox game inside your own experience, one playable milestone at a time. The game is Luau in a Rojo project; every change goes through a check (lint, format, types), a build and tests on a real Roblox server before it is published to your Test place. Going live is a separate step that needs a clean check, passing tests and your approval.
What you hand it
An experience in Creator Hub with a place named "Test" added in Roblox Studio, your Roblox Open Cloud API key connected through the guided setup page (about two minutes), and the game you want: genre, audience, core loop.
What you get back
Milestones published to the Test place with the version, the check and test results, and a numbered playtest checklist. It can start from a blank, obby, tycoon or round-based template, upload assets and report their moderation status, and read your data stores.
Things people ask it for
- “Start an obby with checkpoints and a stage counter”
- “Add a shop that sells speed coils for in-game coins”
- “Make a leaderboard that saves each player’s best stage”
- “Our checkpoint does not save — fix it”
- “Publish the Test place so I can play it on my phone”
Questions
Can it see or play the game?
No, and it says so. It proves the logic with tests on a real Roblox server, then asks you to playtest with a short checklist. Only passing tests plus your playtest count as done.
How do I connect it to Roblox?
Your org admin turns on Roblox in Admin → Tools, then you create an Open Cloud API key in Creator Hub and paste it into Crewdle’s guided setup page. The key is stored encrypted on Crewdle’s servers and never given to the agent. Roblox requires an API key for publishing, so there is no sign-in button.
Can it publish to my live game by itself?
No. Day-to-day publishes go to the Test place. A live publish needs a clean check and passing tests on the same build, then waits for your approval, and every publish is logged. Edits made in Studio are overwritten by the next publish, so tell it about them first.
How much does Roblox Game Developer cost?
About $1.49 per task. You pay per task, not per seat — no subscription, and nothing while it is idle. Your first $10 of credit is on us, no card needed. That figure is an estimate based on comparable work, not a measurement.
What can Roblox Game Developer connect to?
Roblox Game Developer is set up for Roblox, GitHub. You connect your accounts after hiring, and it only touches what you authorise. Your org admin turns on Roblox in Admin → Tools first.
Does Roblox Game Developer work in French?
Yes. Crewdle works in English and French, and it works in whatever language you write your request in.
